Who are we?

We are Malin & Tom, formerly known in some corners of the internet as The Swenglish Adventure.

We are a young half-English, half-Swedish adventure family living and travelling in our campervan called Sunny. We have two awesome little kids, Charlie and Isabella, who are along for the ride and are a massive part of the adventure - they’re real outdoors babies, and we’ve somehow raised them to tolerate our antics.

Our story starts way back in 2013, on a scorching hot Mediterranean island called Cyprus.

Malin, then a 19 year old waitress, got a job working in a fancy cocktail & sushi bar on the beach in a town called Protaras, where there was a young, handsome chap (who had hair on his head) working as a bartender. Flash forward a decade, 2 kids and campervan later, and here we are loving our van life on the road.

Who knows what the future will hold? All we know is that it’ll involve getting rid of Malin’s cancer, selling our house, living in our van and seeing the world with our awesome little family.
